Hijinks in Inhold
Like many city of this type the poor district is compact. The streets are narrow and have many winding twists and turns that can confuse the wayward traveller.
This district is located to the west and south west of the city. There are two halves of the poor district. Upper Mangle is on dry land where the buildings are compact but of sturdier build. Although you would not think so as a considerable amount of buildings have lean to look about them. The other half Lower Mangle, is a newer addition to the city and is situated on the other side of the city walls.
During a great siege fifty years ago, the city was compromised and a large portion of the wall was collapsed. When the siege was over instead of repairing the wall, denizens of Mangle constructed makeshift wooden jetties, wooden houses and houseboats. The poor district doubled with the introduction of this area. This area has become a maze of wooden structures that people can travel by foot or boat. This area has a rather nefarious reputation, so enter at your own risk.
